The Florida Panthers announced their 'Green' initiatives for the month of March. Panther Conservation Night, St. Patrick's Day giveaways and recycling highlight the month-long focus on going green. March's schedule features more home games at BB&T Center than any other month in the 2017-18 regular season.Throughout this month, the Florida Panthers will encourage proper recycling in-venue with PSAs, digital ticketing and education surrounding the Florida panther.Fans can already access every hockey game, concert and event at BB&T Center using their mobile and digital devices. Detailed instructions on how to do so can be found at FloridaPanthers.com/digitalticketing.On March 17th, the Panthers will host the Edmonton Oilers for a 2 p.m. matinee game. The first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive an exclusive green St. Patrick's Day Panthers t-shirt. The team will also wear green warm-up jerseys, which will be auctioned off to benefit the Florida Panthers Foundation. Fans can enter to win a team-signed jersey HERE.On March 24, the club will host its Third-Annual Panther Conservation Night when the Florida Panthers host the Arizona Coyotes at 7 p.m. Featuring educational tables with information from local conservation experts and organizations as well as in-game facts and fundraising opportunities, this night aims to connect the Panthers fan base with the team's namesake animal.Throughout the month of March, the Panthers will donate $50,000 to conservation organizations through auctions and the Community Champions Grant Program.
