Atlanta United participates in league-wide One Planet Jersey release

On Tuesday, Atlanta United unveiled the club's version of the 2023 One Planet Jersey, a league-wide initiative with adidas to promote sustainability ahead of Earth Day on April 22. The team will wear the kit for the home match this weekend on April 23 when they host Chicago Fire at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Fans can purchase the One Planet Jersey in time for the match by going to the team store at Atlantic Station. The kits are also available to purchase online at MLSStore.com.

Each One Planet Jersey is made entirely out of Parley Ocean plastic: re-imagined plastic waste intercepted from beaches and coastal communities. The all over print is a fun and playful interpretation of the oceans that benefit from adidas commitment to re-imagining plastic waste.

Atlanta United's home stadium is one of the leaders is sustainability. Mercedes-Benz Stadium has been dedicated to being a Zero Waste Stadium since its opening is 2017. In 2022 Mercedes-Benz Stadium became the first professional sports stadium to be TRUE certified at a Platinum Level.
