Lauren Litchterman

Collegiate Sustainability and Engagement Specialist

Lauren Lichterman is the Collegiate Sustainability and Engagement Specialist for the Green Sports Alliance. Her role is focused on providing support to collegiate and university current and potential members.

Lauren Lichterman is a seasoned professional in the sport sustainability industry. While working for Texas Athletics for nearly a decade as their Operations and Sustainability Coordinator, she was responsible for the Fan Services, Stadium Tours, and Sustainability programs. Her work included organizing sustainability efforts in all Athletics programs and facilities, specifically focusing on the campus zero-waste goal and fan and student engagement. She also worked for Texas A&M Athletics as a graduate assistant, spearheading the development of their sustainability master plan – the first of its kind in collegiate athletics.

Lauren lives in Austin, TX. She is a sport, outdoors, and fitness enthusiast. She enjoys playing recreational sports and attending any live sporting events (Hook ‘em Horns), picking up heavy things and putting them back down, hiking, hammocking, reading, visiting wineries and distilleries, and seeing movies. Lauren graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Sport Management in 2010 and Texas A&M University with an M.S. in Sport Management in 2022.
