Dr. Mustafa Santiago Ali is the Executive Vice President at the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) and the Founder and CEO of Revitalization Strategies. He is a prominent voice in public health, environmental justice and climate change, bringing over 30 years of experience working at the intersections of policy, community engagement, and sustainability. Previously, he served as the Interim Chief of Programs at the Union of Concerned Scientists and as the Senior Vice President at the Hip Hop Caucus, where he connected the Hip Hop community to civic and environmental action. His career began at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), where he was a founding member of the Office of Environmental Justice, eventually serving as the Senior Advisor for Environmental Justice and Community Revitalization.

Dr. Ali has collaborated with over 1,000 communities globally to address environmental, health, and economic disparities. He co-designed and moderated the first Presidential Forum on Environmental Justice in 2019 and has advised numerous Fortune 500 companies on integrating equity into their programs and policies. In 2020, he launched the Clean Economy of Color Coalition (CECC) to empower entrepreneurs and communities to leverage new opportunities from federal initiatives like the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal and Inflation Reduction Act.

A frequent media presence, Dr. Ali has appeared on major networks such as ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN, Roland Martin Unfiltered, and Democracy Now! He has been featured in over 300 publications. He serves on multiple boards and advisory committees, including the EnvironmentalFilm Festival, Netflix, Green Sports Foundation, Weather Channel, Union of Concerned Scientists, and the NAACP Image Awards. He is a commissioner for the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. His work inspires and drives systemic change in the fight for environmental, economic and social justice
