Webinar: Sports Industry Greening: Current Trends in League-Led Events Part 2
Original Event Description
Join us for Part 2 of our Sports Industry Greening webinar series discussing sustainability at the leadership level in sports. While we often hear from individual teams about sustainability projects and campaigns initiated in their venues and local communities, we’ve designed this webinar to focus on providing insights from the league, conference, and sports governing bodies. Leaders from United States Tennis Association, the National Football League, and the Pac-12 Conference will join us to discuss their respective sustainability programs and initiatives. This webinar will offer a look at how these organizations work to develop and implement sustainability programs across their sport and industry. We’ll also discuss challenges, barriers and opportunities faced as they can be quite different than individual team organizations and venues. Lessons learned from greening large-scale sporting events will provide insights for attendees when planning for broader sustainability initiatives and events.
