10th Annual Green Sports Alliance Summit October 13-14, 2020
2020 marks the Green Sports Alliance’s 10th anniversary. This year’s Summit, “Game On! The Future of Sports & Sustainability,” will recognize the past decade of growth in the green sports movement and look towards the next ten years, while we set a new standard of excellence for sports and sustainability. As our world faces three global pandemics – climate change, Covid-19 and systemic racism – we must come together to leverage the power of sports to create impactful change within our global communities and set the sports industry up for a more sustainable, just and resilient future. The 2020 Green Sports Alliance Summit will be a two-day virtual event series full of high-level speakers, deep dive workshops and tailored networking opportunities for the entire sports greening community. We will convene crucial conversations about how to best leverage the power of sports to address the most pressing environmental and social issues we will face over the next decade and beyond. SAVE THE DATES:
- Tuesday October 6th – A pre-kick off to the 2020 Summit with a full-day celebration of the 5th annual “Green Sports Day” featuring free video conversations showcasing the growth and momentum of the green sports movement.
- Tuesday October 13th & Wednesday October 14th – A more formal 2020 Virtual Summit with high-level keynote speakers, deep dive workshops, and tailored networking events on topics including sustainable facility operations, international sports greening efforts, environmental and social justice, and sports re-opening in the face of COVID-19.
