Maya McClendon

Volleyball Student Athlete, Arizona State University

Graduating from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Pre-medicine/Psychology, Maya McClendon was a highly decorated volleyball player at Arizona State University and the University of Louisville. Among her accolades, were AAC Freshman of the Year, ACC All-American, AAC Conference Champion, and ACC Conference Champion. She was also nominated as 2013 Under Armour All-American and was chosen to represent the USA Junior National team in the North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation Tournament in Nicaragua. Her passion upon graduation, has been in raising awareness and seeking solutions for mental health and wellness issues in today’s modern athletes using new and emerging technologies. She currently resides in San Diego and is working to develop tools and resources for this purpose before continuing her graduate education in Health Psychology.
