The 2011 Green Sports Alliance Summit was a very informative and inspiring event. Dozens of environmental leaders from across the sports industry, government/non-profit/NGO, and corporate world shared the latest innovations and strategies in the greening of sports during a series of presentations and panel discussions.
All of these sessions are now available for public viewing on Vimeo (link below). Some notable speakers include Sacramento Mayor and Former NBA All-Star Kevin Johnson, NFL Director of Community Affairs Dave Krichavsky, Rose Quarter/Trail Blazers Director of Sustainability and Planning Justin Zeulner, and EPA Deputy Associate Administrator Stephanie Owens.
