The Green Sports Alliance is pleased to honor the New York Yankees on June 4th at Yankee Stadium with the 2015 Environmental Leadership Award, created by artist Dale Chihuly.

Since moving to Yankee Stadium in 2009, the Yankees have made a notable commitment to environmental initiatives including renewable energy, composting, water conservation and sustainable purchasing.We celebrate the inspirational leadership of the New York Yankees and their continued contributions to environmental sustainability.Past recipients of the Green Sports Alliance Environmental Leadership Award include Former Major League Baseball Commissioner Allan H.
